This tour starts at the nice little town of Erezée, which once was the assembly area of (parts of) the 75th Infantry Division and 3rd Armored Division.
Bob will take you to the former Hotel “La Clairière“, where 3rdAD general Maurice Rose was stationend and where one of the stations of the famous railroad is.
From here, a big adventue starts, leading to Fisenne, Soy (no, not Foy!) where TF Hogan ended up after his miraculous escape from Marcouray. Then to Melines and Hill La Roumière where the 29th regiment of the 75th Infantry Divison had their baptism.
On the spot where the 517th had a fierce fighting and temporarely stops at the village of Hotton.
From here we have a short walk through the village and Bob will tell you the events that took place at the end of december 1944. We also will have a small lucnh.
After that we continue to the only Common Wealth cemetery, also located in Hotton.
After this visit we will head to the town of Beffe, to visit the sherman tank, belonging to TF Hogans troops. From there we will head to the town of La Roche en Ardenne, where we visit several monuments and end the tour the La Roche museum.
